Sachin: A Billion Dreams, a forthcoming biopic on Indian cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar, has all the makings of a blockbuster.
The first teaser narrated in Tendulkar’s own voice, focuses on his early love for cricket as a kid in Mumbai and his emergence as India’s most-loved batsman, through his close relationship with his father. The film promises to be high on emotions, capturing Tendulkar’s inner journey, as well his mass fan following of millions of Indian cricket lovers.
Tendulkar makes his acting debut in the film, which is being directed by award-winning British writer and director James Erskine. Oscar-winning music director AR Rahman will also be a part of the film. The poster, released by Tendulkar three days ago, offers more clues into what the film may bring.
