In an unusual amalgamation of two classic rock bands, Guns N’ Roses singer Axl Rose will join AC/DC on its Rock or Bust world tour this summer.
In a statement on the band’s website, AC/DC thanked current frontman Brian Johnson for his work with the classic Australian group, whose original singer, Bon Scott, died in 1980. Johnson was ordered to stop touring in March after doctors warned he was at risk of complete hearing loss.
“As much as we want this tour to end as it started, we understand, respect and support Brian’s decision to stop touring and save his hearing,” the statement said. Read more…
