You may never be able to touch Kobe Bryant or see him in person — but now you can finally buy a bag of air he maybe farted in.
In the grand tradition of people seriously selling bags of air (yes, it’s a thing), someone decided to sell air from Kobe’s last game at the Staples Center. Though eBay has since taken the advertisement down, the bidding went up to $13,600.
Sadly, that wasn’t the most outrageous price for Bryant merchandise, although it was the most ethereal product. There were $38,000 Kobe jackets and $5,000 Kobe hats. To commemorate Kobe’s last day on the court, the Lakers sold a record $1.2 million in gear. Read more…
