It’s no surprise that college students often take on great debt after graduation.
Maigan Kennedy is a Meredith College senior and theater major who decided to depict herself literally drowning in debt for her graduation photos.
Taken by Areon Mobasher, the images serve as a tongue-in-cheek way to address the student debt issue that is sweeping the nation.
“I would say the shoot was 3 parts comedy, 2 parts commentary on the difficulty of paying for education in the States,” Kennedy told Mashable in an email. “But it’s very light-hearted.” Read more…
