Kesha‘s return to the stage has been nothing short of triumphant. Her latest performance — a cover of Lady Gaga‘s “Till It Happens To You,” at a benefit for the Humane Society on Saturday night — was a powerful statement.
“I want to dedicate this song to every man, woman, child and animal that has ever been abused,” Kesha said while introducing the song.
Lady Gaga, who is also a rape survivor, co-wrote the song for The Hunting Ground, a documentary about rape on college campuses.
