Can animals really communicate with humans? Koko might answer that question once and for all. In the new documentary Koko: The Gorilla Who Talks to People, the BBC gives audiences a glimpse into the everyday life of Koko and her teacher Penny Paterson, who has taught the gorilla how to communicate with humans through sign language. Koko even has some celebrity friends: Leonardo DiCaprio and William Shatner.
