On Wednesday, Fox News anchor Gretchen Carlson filed a damning lawsuit against Fox News Chairman Roger Ailes, accusing the legendary media mogul of sexism and sexual harassment. 

The lawsuit sent shocks through the media world, as pundits and viewers learned the lurid details of the case. In the lawsuit, Carson contends that Ailes called her a “man-hater” after she complained of sexism on her popular morning show Fox and Friends. Last September, Ailes allegedly told Carson that “she should have had a sexual relationship [with him] a long time ago and then you’d be good and better.”
