SINGAPORE — National hero Joseph Schooling has been a busy man since he returned to Singapore, but he found time to commemorate his historic gold medal win by getting inked.
On Tuesday, the 21-year-old swimmer who beat idol Michael Phelps in the 100m butterfly to take home Singapore’s first Olympic gold medal, showed off his new ink at a press conference held at the OCBC Aquatic Centre.
The tattoo on his right bicep is of the Olympic interlocking rings symbol, to represent the five continents coming together to compete. Read more…
