The al-Shabaab militant group, an east African affiliate of al-Qaeda, released a recruitment video Friday targeting Muslims in the U.S. that used clips from presidential candidate Donald Trump on the campaign trail.
In the clip, Trump can be seen in a December campaign appearance in which he called for a total ban on Muslims entering the U.S
The clip follows a video of radical U.S.-born cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, who was killed by a drone strike in Yemen in September 2011, warning of discrimination against Muslims by the West.
