LOWELL, Mass. — Donald Trump’s campaign rally Monday night in Massachusetts was riddled with protests, an occurrence that’s now become a fixture of the Republican presidential frontrunner’s campaign events.
Here, Trump was interrupted a half-dozen times by six different groups of protesters during an appearance on the University of Massachusetts Lowell campus.
Each time protesters stood up to interrupt Trump, the thousands of people packed into the Tsongas Center tried to drown out voices of protest, chanting “Trump, Trump, Trump” or “USA, USA, USA.”
