report/ report can be typeset in high print-quality
using LaTeX. Since not all a fond to typeset using LaTeX, you can also
look into LyX front-end that offers a GUI LaTeX typesetting. In my
sparetime, I help to mantain the UTM thesis LaTeX template with Dr Yap
Yung Szen from the Physics Department.
- The current stable version is v6.4. This is the
official LaTeX and LyX templates endorsed by UTM according to the UTM
Thesis Manual 2018. You can access it
through Github https://github.com/utmthesis/utmthesis.
The UTM thesis template is also
available on Overleaf
to those who wish to run LaTeX online (no local
installation is required).A tutorial
slide on typesetting UTM Thesis version 6.4 is available.
- I am currently working on v7.0
to satisfy the upcoming 2023 UTM Thesis Manual. The [b5final] option
now prints on B5 paper with front and back covers.
