About Me

                     Dr. Nazimah Hussin is a Senior Lecturer and the Director of Business Administration at Azman Hashim International Business School. Dr. Nazimah earned her BSc in Finance from Arizona State University, MSc in Islamic Economics, Banking and Finance from Loughborough University, and PhD from Durham University. She started her career at UTM in 1999. She has more than 20 years teaching experience and obtained the fellowship status from the Higher Education Academy (HEA), UK in 2010. She has graduated PhD students. She secured and headed research grants and consultancy projects. She has vast experience in examining postgraduate projects and thesis. Dr. Nazimah has been a panel for various programs. In addition, she has examined postgraduate projects and PhD thesis. Dr. Nazimah writes journal articles related to services marketing, banking, Islamic finance, financial instruments and financial behaviours. She has published more than 40 articles in refereed indexed journals such as in Asia Pacific Journal of Marketing and Logistics, Humanomics, Journal of Islamic Marketing, Journal of Promotion Management and other journals. She presented papers at both local and international institutions. She is an ongoing reviewer of international and ISI indexed journals. In terms of the administration sides, she was trusted to head various tasks such as being the head of events and taskforce. Dr. Nazimah is also a trainer for Social Return on Investment. Her research interests include Islamic Finance, Services Marketing, Corporate Finance and Consumer Behaviours. More currently, she has move further closely in working to develop talents with industries through the academic pathway.
