The International Conference on Ships and Offshore Structures (ICSOS) will be hosted at the Hamburg University of Technology from 31.08.2016 to 02.09.2016 in agreement and cooperation with Professor Jeom Kee Paik and his Journal of Ships and Offshore Structures. The conference seeks to provide a platform for selected high quality papers, from where the majority will be promoted to a special issue of the Ships and Offshore Structures journal (SAOS). The promotion process will be an essential part of ICSOS and allows for a time efficient inclusion of Your contribution into SAOS.
To ensure that only high quality papers will be presented at the conference, ICSOS is very pleased to be backed-up by an outstanding international scientific committee. The committee members will support abstract selection and the thorough review of the submitted papers, both for the conference and for the special issue of the journal.
Concerning the date, you may notice the close proximity to PRADS, which is intentionally chosen to allow for efficient traveling to Europe for ICSOS and further events, such as SMM to be held in the week following ICSOS in Hamburg.
