A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and University of Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom on the 27th of November 2017. The ceremony was held at the Newcastle University Medicine Malaysia (NuMed), Iskandar Puteri, Johor. I was the liaison officer from UTM and Prof Chris Baldwin for University of Newcastle upon Tyne.
The MOU was signed by Prof Dato’ Ir. Dr Wahid Omar (the Vice Chancellor of UTM) and Prof Chris Day (Vice Chancellor and President University of Newcastle upon Tyne) and was witnessed by Prod Dr Azmi Aris (the Director of Centre of Environment Sustainability and Water Security, IPASA) and Prof Roger Barton (the Provost and Chief Executive Officer of NuMed).
