#UTMDNA

The motto of UTM, “In the Name of God for Mankind,” serves as a constant reminder that the knowledge and insights we offer have broader implications than simply our own lives. The ultimate goal is to improve people’s lives. This thought encourages me to grow and improve constantly as lecturer and researcher in UTM. UTM’s vision of “A Premier University Providing World-Class Education and Research” and mission of “To Develop Holistic Talents and Prosper Lives Through Knowledge and Innovative Technologies” serve as beacons guiding me towards my goals. I consider myself an integral part of this effort, since I believe in the importance of developing well-rounded people who can utilise their intelligence and creativity to improve the world. Knowledge and cutting-edge technology integration is more than a goal for me; it’s a mental framework.

UTM’s primary goal is the cultivation of well-rounded skills and the enhancement of individual agency via the pursuit of knowledge and the use of cutting-edge technology. UTM is steadfast in its aim to cultivate the intellectual, personal, and professional development of its students by providing them with a broad education that extends beyond the classroom. UTM’s mission is to provide students with the tools they need to succeed in a complex, interconnected, and rapidly changing global economy. UTM’s enVision UTM 2025 outlines its aspirations through the strategic thrust and priorities to make a positive difference in people’s lives and the world at large via the transformational power of education and innovation. Five strategic thrusts and eight strategic priorities are designed to support the university’s basic principles, with a focus on student success, faculty and staff development, research, service to the community, and institutional and national recognition. In my opinion, the success of UTM depends not only on academic factors, but also on the excellent values shown by the students, faculty, and administration in pursuit of academic greatness. UTM will spearhead the catalysation and empowerment of the “Fantastic 4” inventive areas embodied in the Corporate Niche Strategy: robotics, water, materials, and energy, in order to realise its vision as a centre for “Innovating Solutions.” To overcome obstacles and leave a lasting legacy of good change, we have adopted a culture of speed, a dedication to cooperation, and an ultimate aim of resilience.

By emphasising these factors, I believe UTMDNA is within me. I want to foster an atmosphere conducive to education, discovery, and invention, all of which will have a positive effect on the society. A successful academic environment must be developed using a multifaceted strategy. Maintaining these characteristics has made UTM a model of academic success and a force for good in the world.
