Engineering-Industry Innovation Day 2019

First ever Faculty of Engineering of UTM’s event since the Synergy 4.0 took place on  July 1st, 2018.

The event was held on 11th to 12th September 2019 at Sultan Iskandar Hall (DSI) and BCSI (Senate Hall).

The Faculty of Engineering are the combination of 6 Faculties (FKA, FKE, FKKSA, FKM, FK, FBME) which transformed into 6 schools; School of Civil Eng., School of Electrical Eng., School of Chemical & Energy Eng., School of Mechanical Eng., School of Computing, and School of Biomedical Eng. & Health Sciences.

The objectives of the program are (details could be found on the EIID2019 website):

1. to catalyze UTM Engineering-industry collaboration
2. to provide platform to showcase expertise, research products and the varieties of collaboration opportunities
3. to obtain research foresights
4. to promote research, training and post-graduate study opportunity at UTM

I support the Sponsorship Committee which led by Prof. Dr. Md. Kamal with others, AP. Dr. Bruce, AP. Dr. Pei Ling, Ir. Dr. Micheal, Dr. Farid, Dr. Julia, Dr. Suhana, Dr. Effiyana, Dr. Aini, Dr. Fazilah, Dr. Shahidatul, and Dr. Afiq.

There were a lot of programs, i.e. Grand Challenges, Exhibition, and MoU-MoA.

The Closing and Keynote Speech was presented by the Minister of Energy, Science, Technology, Environment and Climate Change (MESTECC), YB. Yeo Bee Yin.
