On the 19th October 2013 the 1st UTM ChemE Car Competition was held in conjunction with UTMost Carnival 2013, at Dewan Sultan Iskandar, UTM. The competition was organized by Chemical Engineering Students Society (ChESS) of Faculty of Chemical Engineering UTM. One of the objectives from this competition was to select the teams for representing UTM at the national Chem-e-car competition.
