Our laboratory has contributed a chapter in this edited book, published by UTM Publisher. The chapter is titled “Aerobic and Anaerobic Biodegradation of Palm Oil Mill Effluent” by J. O. Audu and M. F. Abdul-Wahab, summarizing the different processes involved in the POME treatment system, including a discussion on the key microbial communities involved.
