In Solidarity: Standing Strong with Palestine

The history of Palestine is one marked by resilience and determination in the face of adversity. Generations have endured hardship, displacement, and conflict, yet their spirit remains unbroken. From the struggles of the past to the challenges of the present, Palestinians have demonstrated an unparalleled strength that commands our respect and solidarity.

Solidarity is a powerful force that transcends borders, cultures, and backgrounds. When we stand with Palestine, we affirm our belief in the shared humanity that binds us all. It is a statement against oppression, discrimination, and the violation of human rights.

Palestine being of significance to Muslims because Allah has named it the Holy Land and the Blessed Land in the Quran. It’s mentioned in Surah Al- Ma’idah ( 5:21). It was the home of many Prophets and great men. Palestine was the birthplace of many Prophets including Nabi Ibrahim a.s, Ishaq a.s., Daud a.s., Yaaqub a.s, Sulaiman a.s., Zakaria a.s., Yahya a.s., Isa a.s. and other companions like Maryam a.s.

Palestine is home to one of the Sacred Masjid in Islam, the Masjid al-Aqsa. Masjid Al-Aqsa is the third holiest site in Islam. It was the first Qibla for Muslims.

Our stand with Palestine is not an endorsement of division but a call for unity especially for us Muslims. It is also  an acknowledgment that, irrespective of our backgrounds, we share a common responsibility to uphold the principles of justice and human rights. Our stand with Palestine is a testament to the enduring power of solidarity, reminding us that together, we can be agents of positive change in the world.
