The 4th Young Surveyors Asia & the Pacific Meeting (#4YSAPM) in conjunction with Smart Geo Expo 2023 (SGE2023), with the theme “Geo-Revolution, Better Life for All”. The event took place from November 8th to November 10th, 2023, at the Korea International Exhibition Centre (KINTEX) in Goyang-si, South Korea.
This three-day event was co-hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) in Korea, with support from the FIG Foundation and FIG Young Surveyors Network (YSN). Dr. Kelvin Tang Kang Wee from Geomatic Innovation Research Group (GnG), FABU, served as the Chair of the #4YSAPM this year, which brought together 25 young surveyors and professionals from 8 different countries with diverse cultural backgrounds, surveying traditions, and professional experiences. The event aimed to provide a platform for these young surveyors and professionals to strengthen cooperation and bridge differences, paving the way for a more resilient future for all.
