15th Southeast Asia Survey Congress, Darwin, Australia

Attended the 15th Southeast Asia Survey Congress (SEASC2019) on 15th-18th August 2019 in Darwin, Australia. Also, get invited to join the SSSI’s Young Professionals Day which held a day before the SEASC 2019 at Darwin Convention Centre.

It’s my honour and pleasure to be appointed as the #rapporteur to assist Dr. Wicha Jiwalai who chair this session. Started a bit late 2.00pm due to some unavoidable matters. Anyway, this session was attended by around 130 attendees and wrapped up at 3.30pm. A little bit overshoot but everyone have enjoy this fruitful plenary session.

Presented a small part of my Ph.D research work. A brief technical talk on #SDB #imageryderivedbathymetry approach in detecting seafloor changes @LULC in nearshore coastal area!

Free conference tour organized by SEASC2019 to the abandoned Palmerston Township. Surveyors always like to explore and hang around to “Cari Batu”! SEASC2019 delegates examine an original ironwood survey marker placed by Goyder’s survey team in 1869 at the Virginia Townsite, Northern Territory.
