I am thrilled to share the good news that my student, Lee Chia Hau, has secured a prestigious scholarship valued at CAD $12,700.00 for his research endeavour, titled “Purification and Functional Analysis of Novel Immunomodulatory Peptides from Edible Bird’s Nest (EBN),” at the University of Alberta.
This remarkable scholarship is awarded by the Canadian-ASEAN Scholarships and Educational Exchanges for Development (SEED) program and will enable Lee Chia Hau to undertake a 6-month placement at one of the most renowned research institutions in Canada. The opportunity to study and conduct research in a world-class scientific environment will undoubtedly prove invaluable for Lee Chia Hau’s growth as a scholar and researcher.
