Advisor: Datin Normal Bt Mat Jusoh

Discussion: Objective of this visit is to capture all the knowledge that involve in the process to making this industrial visit. We choose to visit Noor Arfa Batik because it was one of famous industry in Malaysia.

The history of Noor Arfa Batik House operated in May 2006 at Malacca International Trade Centre (MITC). The company is not only produces handmade batik for local trade but also for the international trade especially during the Malaysia visit. Moreover, Malacca Batik House also provides a space for demonstration to paint batik by using waxes, blocks or weaving. Visitors can view the art of handmade batik and experience it by themselves.

Observation: Planning the tentative is very importance. This will help to manage the time usefully since the trip only for one day. Based on tentative, we supposed to be at Malacca River Cruise at 5 p.m. However, we did not manage because of the traffic problem. This makes all of us miss the opportunity to ride the river cruise. We only manage to look around and take picture. The other activities in the tentative were followed accordingly.

Other activity: We participate in ‘canting Batik’ activities in Noor Arfa Batik House. This was a new experience for all of us. Everyone participate in this activities except one of our group member, Mira Haniza because she is the photographer that responsible take the entire picture for the industry visit.
Recommendations: For future, we should increase the number of industry that we visit. This will give the student more new experience involving with industry. This will also improve the communication level of the student went dealing with the industry.
