Little About Myself

I’m Nurhafizah Binti Hasim, who is born and raised in Melaka. After SPM, I further my studies in Johor Matriculation College (KMJ) in Tangkak for One (1) year. This marked as the first year I lived in Johor. Then, I’ve been accepted to continue my Bachelor of Science, Industrial Physics in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in Skudai, Johor for Three (3) years. During my degree life, I’ve learned lots of new things such as become an adventurous person by trying to explore new and exciting things such as on how to express my feelings and many more. I also felt in love with doing experiments and lab reports, as it grows onto me. Moreover, I re-lived the dream of becoming a scientist since my childhood (7 years old). This dream had been with me the longest time as I always love the FRIENDS sitcom as one of the character, Ross Geller is a scientist himself.

Therefore, I continued my studies (Master and PhD) in research area focus in Material Physics in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). I finished my studies (Master and PhD) within 5 years combine, with a break of working as a Research Assistant (RA) after Master (1 year) and after PhD (1.5 year). Research is one of the exciting works and hobbies for me.

To be a lecturer and a researcher were a dream and I’ve had achieved it. Therefore, always tries your best so that a dream will become a reality. “Just keep go forward, but always be humble and kind in everything you do”, a quote I’ve always grasp on. We All Can Do It!
