Family Outing…

We are having our family outing on the third day of Eid-ul-Fitri. We go bowling at Sahara Bowl in Angsana. Rarely, we have our family outings due to work schedule, extra money available and so on and so forth.

But again without Kak Long… Kak Long starts working today at Hospital Pakar Sultanah Fatimah, Muar after having 2 days off.

We played 2 games each; Aman managed to be the champion, followed by Ammar.

As for the fee of the game, I have got a few comments. I have seen a signage saying that the fee for the game for the weekend and public holidays are RM7 per game. There’s a fee of RM4 for the students. My assumption was that as we play on Tuesday that is the third day of Hari Raya, we suppose to get the lesser fee because a public holiday is only on the first and second days of Hari Raya.

So, I told the boy at the counter that we have 2 adults and 7 students. But the boy said, it’s a public holiday and everybody is charged RM7 per game. “I just follow the order and the fee is RM144”, he added. Not wanting to spoil the moods of my kids, I just paid the fee and start bowling.

After the game, we pray Asar together at the Surau in Angsana. The facility at the Surau is not bad at all, equipped with the imam and bilal. The place is fully carpeted, air conditioned and very spacious too.

There are not too many shops opened on the third day of Eid. One of our intentions was to go to Badan Cemerlang Book Store but it was closed.

UO supermarket was opened but the queue was too long. Probably its staffs were still on leave. Before you managed to pay your groceries you might need to stay in line for probably for half an hour. Only two counters are opened.

Well, what is important is that there are not many people around so that you can move around very easily. The car park is not full and it is very easy to find one.
