Recently, I was appointed as one of the auditors for course files at the Faculty of Built Environment & Surveying (FABU), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). This is my very first experience stepping into the auditing process — and what a truly exciting journey it has been!
Initially, my intention was simply to learn and observe how the auditing process works. However, this opportunity has given me an eye-opening and enriching experience, offering a fresh perspective on academic quality assurance, processes, and continuous improvement from the auditor’s side.
I am grateful for the trust given and look forward to applying these insights to strengthen teaching and learning practices in the future.
