Dr. Abdul Ghafar Jaafar is a senior University lecturer from Razak Faculty of Technology and Informatics (RFTI) and received his Ph.D. in Network Security from the University Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). My research focuses on cybersecurity, specifically on several domains such as Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems, Malware, Network and Application Security. Currently exploring Artificial Intelligence (AI) in cyber security, Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) and Embedded systems programming. Before I joined the university, I had worked for over twelve years and had vast experience in network security. My primary teaching goal is cultivating proficient ethical hackers who can identify and address computer and network security vulnerabilities. I aspire to see my students demonstrate a deep understanding of penetration testing methodologies, a mastery of relevant tools, and the ability to conduct thorough and ethical security assessments.
