How to measure either we are motivated or not. According to Golemen (1998) motivation could be measured by several competencies. The competence framework of motivation are:

  1. Achievement drive: striving to improve or meet a standard of excellence
  2. commitment :aligning with the goals of the group or organisation
  3. initiative : readiness to act on opportunities
  4. optimism: persistence in pursuing goals despite obstacle and setbacks
