Associate Professor Dr. Chua Lee Suan is a university lecturer of Department of Bioprocess and Polymer Engineering, School of Chemical and Energy Engineering (FCEE), Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). She is also in-charge of Analytics and Bioproduct Validation in Institute of Bioproduct Development (IBD). She is a registered chemist under the Malaysian Institution of Chemistry and a technical assessor for Malaysia Standard ISO/IEC 17025. A wide range of analytical testing techniques including chemical and microbiological parameters are offered to researchers and public under the IBD Laboratory Service with the accreditation from MS ISO/IEC 17025. She has many years of experiences in natural product researches, particularly on metabolite profiling of local herbs and honey. Her active involvement in research activities can be seen from her commitment as a journal reviewer and editor for several well-known international journals.
