PERUTUSAN NAIB CANSELOR SEMPENA HARI RAYA AIDILADHA 1441H

Bismillahirahmanirrahim
Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh dan Salam Sejahtera,

Salam Aidiladha.

MESSAGE FROM THE VICE-CHANCELLOR IN CONJUNCTION WITH HARI RAYA AIDILADHA 1441H

Bismillahirahmanirrahim
Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh dan Good day,

  1. First of all, Salam Aidiladha to all UTM community wherever you are. Let us all be grateful for all the blessings of Allah swt and be reunited with the month of Zulhijah this year, even though the situation is very different by adopting new norms.
  2. The risk of COVID-19 transmission is still there and we still can not feel compleasent in the current situation. The positive daily case of COVID-19 has returned to 2 digits. We must always obey with standard operating procedures (SOPs) as set by the government should be taken into account.
  3. This year, no pilgrims from outside Saudi Arabia are allowed to perform the pilgrimage. However, we should be grateful because we can still perform sacrificial worship with other Muslims.
  4. Therefore, seize and take advantage of this available opportunity to the best of your ability. There are many lessons we can learn from the sacrifices we have gone through since the Movement Control Order (MCO) was implemented starting last March.
  5. For those who are return to hometown during Aidiladha holiday, always be vigilant and prudent in driving. For those who perform sacrificial worship, it is hoped that all preparations and implementation of sacrificial worship run smoothly by complying with the prescribed SOP. Hopefully all the planned acts of worship can be fulfilled and accepted by all our charitable deeds.
  6. For that, let us all strive to express the meaning of sacrifice in every daily activity. We need and willing to sacrifice longer in order to break the COVID-19 transmission chain.
  7. Finally, Happy Aidiladha Eid 1441 hijrah to all UTM community, especially Muslims. May we be protected from the threat of COVID-19.

Salam Aidiladha.
