Bermula 30 Ogos 2015 sehingga 2 September 2015, YBhg. Datuk Naib Canselor mengadakan lawatan rasmi ke Jepun. Antara agenda lawatan ini ialah mengadakan kunjungan hormat kepada Presiden Meiji University, Professor Kenichi Fukumiya, mesyuarat khas dengan Japanese University Consortium (JUC) dan University of Tokyo selain lawatan ke UTM Satellite Office in Academy Common, Takasago Thermal Engineering dan Shibaura Institute of Technology. Kesemua agenda rasmi ini adalah bagi memperkukuh hubungan selain meneroka peluang meningkatkan kerjasama antara UTM dengan Universiti dan institusi-institusi terkemuka di Jepun ini. Turut mengiringi dalam lawatan rasmi ke negara matahari terbit ini ialah Prof. Dr. Durrishah binti Idrus, Pengarah Kampus UTM Kuala Lumpur dan Prof. Datin Dr. Rubiyah Yusof, Dekan Malaysia Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT).
Vice-Chancellor Visits Japan
Commencing August 30, 2015 until September 2, 2015, the Hon. Vice-Chancellor will be on an official visit to Japan. Among the agenda of the visit include a courtesy call to the President of Meiji University, Professor Kenichi Fukumiya; a special meeting with the Japanese University Consortium (JUC) and University of Tokyo; and visits to the UTM Satellite Office in Academy Common, Takasago Thermal Engineering, as well as Shibaura Institute of Technology. All these official visits aim to strengthen existing strategic alliances, and explore opportunities in enhancing further collaboration between UTM and leading Universities and institutions in Japan. Accompanying the Hon. Vice-Chancellor on this official visit to Japan are Prof. Dr. Durrishah Idrus , Director of UTM Kuala Lumpur Campus and Prof. Datin Dr. Rubiyah Yusof, Dean of the Malaysia Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT) .
