4–6 May 2026 | An insightful Workshop on BMS/TMS Offshore Positioning & Anchor Handling using QPS Qinsy was successfully held at the Faculty of Built Environment and Surveying, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
Over three intensive days, participants experienced a well-balanced program featuring structured classroom lectures, hands-on practical sessions, and real offshore hydrographic positioning insights. The training was delivered by two dedicated QINSy instructors, Tn Hj Noor Safaruddin Kamaruddin, Muhammad Hazim Mat Razali and Amir Haziq Hamdan from THS Geoscience Malaysia.
This program was organised by Photo Laser Grammetry Sdn. Bhd. (A certified UTM spin-off company) in collaboration with the THS Geoscience Malaysia and Hydrography Laboratory, FABU UTM. More than just a workshop, this initiative serves as a platform for students to bridge theory with real offshore practice, transforming knowledge into industry-ready skills
