Sometimes we confuse to decide our fuel tank of car is on the right side or left side so that we can stop at the right pump. Otherwise we have to pull the pump hose to the other side of the car.
Here are some tips can be used:
(1) See the fuel indicator on the dashboard.
The arrow shows the direction of the fuel tank side. The left arrow indicate the fuel tank is on the left side of the car and so on.

- (a) Fuel indicator show the arrow to the left.

- (b) Fuel indicator show the arrow to the left.

- (d) Fuel indicator show the arrow to the right.

- (c) Fuel indicator show the arrow to the right.
(2) If no arrow at all, have a glance outside around you to find car with similar brand of your car.
(3) Stop and find the fuel tank of your car.

Do you know if the exhaust of a car is located at the right side, the fuel tank cap will be on the opposite side of the car?

- The exhaust is on the left. Therefore the fuel tank should be on the right side of the car.

- The exhaust is on the right. Therefore the fuel tank should be on the leftt side of the car.
How about the cars with two exhausts? Or in the middle of the back car???

- The exhausts are on the both side.

- The exhausts are on the the middle.
