The Malaysia Innovation, Invention and Creativity Association (MIICA) has successfully conducted the virtual 2nd International Invention & Innovation Competition (I3C) 2023 on February 11 and 12, 2023, utilizing the Zoom platform as the medium. This competition comprises four distinct categories: Environmental Sciences, Social Sciences, Mathematics, and Physics; as well as Engineering and Robotics. Participation in this competition is extended to scientists and researchers across various educational levels, including primary and secondary schools, colleges, universities, tertiary institutions, instructors, and educators.
The primary focus of the 2nd International Invention & Innovation Competition (I3C) 2023 was aligned with the global trajectory of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR), encompassing the surge in data and connectivity, analytical advancements, human-machine interaction, and the progress of robotics technology, among other crucial domains.
With the total of more than 180 teams from Malaysia and 10 countries, my team and I have joined this innovation competitions. I developed two teams with colleague for different innovation projects. Project 1 entitled Liveworksheets Hyperbolic Brain Puzzle and project 2 entitled Implementation of Edpuzzle and Augmented Reality in 3D Learning as an Innovation in Mathematics.
I also encourage my students from my Engineering Mathematics II class to contribute in this innovation. They also joined under the project title Smart Guide Cane for Blind People. They also joined Ruler Contest.
Project titled Liveworksheets Hyperbolic Brain Puzzle won gold award, most inspiring award, overall best projects (platinum award), International Avicenna Research Centre Iran Special award and was selected as the best invention represented Malaysia. This team will be representing Malaysia in Innovation World Cup 2023.
Project titled Implementation of Edpuzzle and Augmented Reality in 3D Learning as an Innovation in Mathematics won gold award, most inspiring award and this team also will be representing Malaysia in Innovation World Cup 2023.
Project title Smart Guide Cane for Blind People won Gold Medal, Romania NWERA Association Special Award and Most Inspiring Awards.
For Ruler Contest we got a Gold Medal Award.
