UTM Hosts Youth Environment Leadership Bootcamp at Hutan Rekreasi UTM
Johor Bahru, February 23, 2025 – Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) successfully organized the Youth Environment Leadership Bootcamp from February 21 to 23, 2025, at Hutan Rekreasi UTM. The three-day, two-night event brought together passionate young individuals to enhance their knowledge of environmental sustainability, develop leadership skills, and establish valuable networks.

Empowering Future Environmental Leaders
The bootcamp aimed to empower youth with a deeper understanding of environmental challenges and equip them with the tools to drive impactful change. The program revolved around four key objectives:
- Environmental Literacy – Increasing awareness and understanding of global and local environmental issues.
- Leadership Development – Cultivating leadership skills necessary to lead community-driven environmental initiatives.
- Networking and Collaboration – Creating connections between participants, experts, and community stakeholders.
- Inspiration and Motivation – Providing exposure to environmental leaders to inspire sustained advocacy efforts.
