Pusat Kaunseling UTM sedang menjalankan satu kajian bagi mengenalpasti tahap tekanan, kebimbangan dan kemurungan serta tahap kemahiran daya tindak (coping skill) dalam kalangan staf UTM. Kajian ini merupakan suatu kajian menyeluruh melibatkan SEMUA STAF DARI SETIAP JAWATAN DAN GRED.

Misi kami adalah bagi mendapatkan sebanyak mungkin maklumbalas dari staf bagi mencapai maksud dan objektif kajian. Justeru, kami amat mengharapkan kerjasama dari setiap staf untuk menjayakan harapan ini. Bagi yang telah menjawab, setinggi-tinggi penghargaan kami ucapkan.

Hasil dapatan dan data yang diperolehi akan digunakan untuk tujuan:

1. Penambahbaikan perkhidmatan kepada staf.
2. Memastikan tahap kesejahteraan staf dalam keadaan yang baik.

PROCEDURES OF CLASS ABSENCE REPORTING AND NOTICE OF BARRING STUDENT FROM FINAL EXAMINATION

Assalamualaikum & Greetings.

Dear All Lecturers,

Kindly be informed that starting from this coming semester, i.e., Sem. I 2018/2019, MJIIT Academic Management Office (with the approval of MJIIT Academic Committee (MAC)) will be using TWO (2) official forms for Class Absence Report and Notice of Barring Student from Final Examination.

Therefore, report on student absences shall be submitted officially by using the forms provided.

As stated in UTM Academic Rules and Regulations :

 ‘Student must attend MORE THAN 80% of class meetings for EACH (1) semester as stipulated by the course including Hadir Wajib (HW) dan Hadir Sahaja (HS) courses. Students who do not meet the above requirements with an acceptable reason by the University will not be allowed to attend the following class meetings and to sit for any further form of evaluation. A ZERO (0) mark will be given for the course concerned or a Hadir Gagal (HG) will be given for the ones with a Hadir Wajib (HW) STATUS; and marks will not appear on the transcript for the course that is registered as Hadir Sahaja (HS)’.

Enclosed herewith are the procedures and the newly-introduced forms for your kind perusal. Alternatively, you may collect them from the MJIIT Academic Management Office at Level 2.

Last year’s event was successfully conducted along with huge media coverage including The Star, the New Straits Times, Astro, and many more. 
 
This year, we are happy to announce the next NASA SPACE APPS CHALLENGE 2018, one of the world’s biggest hackathon event in more than 170 cities around the world

Participant: Open for anyone who is above 18 years old and interested in developing meaningful solutions to help needs applicable to both life in Space and on Earth

We need students, technician, designer, whoever willing to share your idea! 
 
UTM participants will be mentored by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Noor Azurati Ahmad, who has experienced in the Space Apps Challenge since 2016. Participants are also encouraged to attend a pitching coaching session with ICC as a preparation in participating the program

Proposal for JICA Grant for Joint Research Project

Greetings everyone,
JICA has opened the application for joint research project for young MJIIT members (<40 years).  Please look at the guidelines and apply.
Outline of the Grant is:
(1)     Grant amount for each project: Maximum of RM 180,000
(2)     Grant period for each project: 2 years starting from April 2019 until March 2021
(3)     Number of projects: JICA will fund 5 grants
