Hazilah Mad Kaidi is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). She currently serves as a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence, formerly known as the Razak Faculty of Technology and Informatics, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) Kuala Lumpur. She also leads the Ubiquitous Broadband Access Network (U-BAN) research group, where she spearheads several active AI- and IoT-driven projects focused on agriculture applications and smart farming systems. Her research interests include mobile and wireless communications, error control coding, Cross-Layer Design, the Internet of Things (IoT), and green technology. Beyond her academic and research roles, she contributes nationally as a committee member of the National 5G Sub-Working Group and the Crowdsource Application and VoLTE Group under the IMT & Future Networks Working Group in the Malaysian Technical Standards Forum Bhd (MTSFB).
