I’m looking for candidates who have the interest to pursue their Master or Ph.D. studies FULL TIME under the Internet of Things project starting Sept 2019. The study allowances are RM1200-RM2000 for Master and Ph.D., respectively. The applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic/telecommunication/computer engineering.

Systems Optimization and Analysis for Operations
This course provides the students to modeling, optimization and simulation of systems engineering for decision support. The introduction of optimization models and algorithms provide a framework of a wide range issues in engineering systems. Probabilistic simulation methods are also a powerful tool for analyzing and designing engineering system.
Advanced Sensor System
Credit Closed Loop Healthcare / Smart America
The course will first introduce the principles of the sensors, and followed by the technology used in several types of advanced sensors. To understand the sensor concept better, the students will be exposed to a sensor design using specific software. The course will end with some examples of sensors applications and their architectures from past and ongoing industry research projects. Finally, the course will also be reviewed especially on the smart sensor system emerging technologies and their applications.
