- NEW FILTER DESIGN FOR MULTIPLE ACCESS SCHEMES OF THE FIFTH GENERATION (5G)
The method will be used is to compare the new filter design with the previous filter types in term of the filter complexity, bandwidth efficiency and the performance such as Packet Error Rate(PER), Bit Error Rate (BER) and throughput. The development of the filter will be based on the modification of f-OFDM filter in Soft-Truncation Sinc Filters and Equiripple Filters. All the modification and testing will be performed in MATLAB and later on the result will be compared with standard f-OFDM filters. Similar methodology will be repeated for other multiple access schemes including the filters, i.e. Near Perfect Reconstruction (NPR) filter for Filter-Bank Multi-Carrier (FBMC) waveform and Bohman filter for Universal-Filtered Multi-Carrier (UFMC) waveforms.
