The objective of this research is to develop Hybrid ARQ system to further minimize error in wireless communication system especially will be applied in future generation networks. Irregular Repetition Code (IRC) that known for their coding/decoding simplicity are employed as the channel codes of the proposed Hybrid ARQ system and the exploitation of the extended mapping (EM) is performed during the retransmission process and the parallel iterative decoding (PID) process of the IRC at the receiver.
The combination techniques of EM, SID and PID will improve the performance of the existing works which are researchers basically separate these techniques in the ARQ systems.
