I have been holding the post as the coordinator for Postgraduate Mathematics Program in the Faculty of Educational Sciences and Technology, UTM. The following are the list of programs I am in charge of:

Master of Philosophy Field of Research: Mathematics Education-Full Research
Doctor of Philosophy Field of Research: Mathematics Education-PhD
As a coordinator, I have been involved in quality checking of academic programs especially for Masters and PhD courses. I was heavily involved in the preparation of paperwork for 2020 curriculum review so that our postgraduate programs are aligned with MQA2.0. In addition, coordination of the auditing of the postgraduate programs was also conducted by me. In particular, selection of interviewees for the auditing process and myself as the coordinator was interviewed about the workflow and expectations to uphold the quality of each program.
In addition as the coordinator I also promote our postgraduate programs in promotional efforts. For example, recently I was involved in the promotion at Putrajaya for new HLP teachers. at the end of every year, I also conduct a session with final year students about what they can do after graduation. In this session, I will explain about postgraduate study in UTM and explain the benefits of continuing their studies in UTM especially as a prism student.
as a coordinator we also meet up with exterior parties to explain our program. For example a meeting was held with prof Hadi as the external examiner of our academic program. Another meeting was also held with KPM to discuss about the progress of our HLP students.
I am in charge of welcoming new mathematics education students every semester to our school and introducing them to the courses we have to offer in UTM. I am the go to person if students have any questions about the course or program.
I also keep track of mathematics education students’ performance and sometimes am required to personally contact students if there are any concerns about the progress of their studies.
At the moment, I am also the President of Persatuan Pendidikan Sains dan Matematik Johor (PPSMJ). for this, I am mostly in charge of organizing programs, document keeping and financial management. I always keep up to date with PPSMJ programs with all members. We are currently organizing ‘Festival Sains dan Matematik’ which will occur in November 2025.
I am also the head of the FEST alumni committee. For this, I have started the development of the Alumni page https://fest.utm.my/alumni/ . Other than that, I have started an alumni mailing list to identify our outstanding alumni. I will also be organizing an alumni hi-tea event to recognize our outstanding alumni and will also organize talks to promote alumni linkages. In addition, I am a member of Latihan Mengajar committee and Research Study committee.
