In this 2-day course, the participant will be introduce to the concept of constructive alignment in university. They will be expose to the way of designing constructively aligned outcome-based teaching and learning. These including designing intended learning outcomes and designing teaching and learning activities for declarative and functioning intended learning outcomes. Moreover, the participants will practice how to align assessment tasks with intended learning outcomes and how to assess and grade for declarative and functioning intended learning outcomes. This course will also discuss on the best way to implement constructive alignment in various levels ; course and department, faculty, institution by looking at the policy and support at the various level. Some research on the effectiveness of constructively aligned teaching will be discussed too.
