Roles and Responsibilities of Supervisor

I want to share some tips for supervision as been explained by Wan Azmi Wan Hamzah (2020), a Professor from Universiti Malaysia Pahang. Here are seven roles of supervisor to his/ her postgraduate students:

1. Meeting the students (weekly meeting)
2. Guide to literature study (related recent topic)
3. Guide for research materials and facilities
4. Guide for research publications (Scopus indexed journal for Msc. students and High Impact Journal for PhD students)
5. Thesis writing (high quality thesis with sufficient content for Msc. and PhD students)
6. Completion for the graduation requirements
7. Graduate on time
