: PENGGUNAAN APLIKASI UTMSMART BAGI MEREKOD KEHADIRAN PELAJAR KE KELAS

 
 
Assalamualaikum dan Salam Sejahtera,
Sebagai satu insiatif UTM Digital Lifestyle, aplikasi UTMSmart kini menyediakan kemudahan untuk merekod kehadiran pelajar ke kelas.
 
Untuk menggunakan UTMSmart di telefon pintar, sila muat turun aplikasi ini di Google Play atau App Store dan cari aplikasi UTMSmart . Aplikasi ini boleh digunakan dalam persekitaran sistem pengoperasian Android (versi 4.4 atau terkini) dan iOS (versi 1.0.4 atau terkini).
 
Ikuti langkah-langkah dalam panduan ringkas yang disediakan dalam grafik di bawah untuk menggunakan UTMSmart bagi tujuan merekod kehadiran.

Diharapkan sistem ini dapat dimanfaatkan oleh pensyarah bagi merekod kehadiran pelajar.

In accordance with UTM Synergy 4.0, the website as listed below will no longer be maintained by the Office of Corporate Affairs (HEK), effective 1st August 2018 and will be completely closed from 1 November 2018:
The personal website of staff under all faculties will also be placed at new address under people.utm.my.
HEK will only transfer web pages based on application made by the website owner. Transfer application can be submitted by filling out the following form

SOAL SELIDIK KAJIAN SARINGAN MINDA SIHAT STAF UTM BAGI PROGRAM MINDA SIHAT, EMOSI TENANG (MINDSET) 2018

Pusat Kaunseling UTM sedang menjalankan satu kajian bagi mengenalpasti tahap tekanan, kebimbangan dan kemurungan serta tahap kemahiran daya tindak (coping skill) dalam kalangan staf UTM. Kajian ini merupakan suatu kajian menyeluruh melibatkan SEMUA STAF DARI SETIAP JAWATAN DAN GRED.

Misi kami adalah bagi mendapatkan sebanyak mungkin maklumbalas dari staf bagi mencapai maksud dan objektif kajian. Justeru, kami amat mengharapkan kerjasama dari setiap staf untuk menjayakan harapan ini. Bagi yang telah menjawab, setinggi-tinggi penghargaan kami ucapkan.

Hasil dapatan dan data yang diperolehi akan digunakan untuk tujuan:

1. Penambahbaikan perkhidmatan kepada staf.
2. Memastikan tahap kesejahteraan staf dalam keadaan yang baik.

  1. Mewujudkan program-program yang bersesuaian yang menjadi keperluan kepada pembinaan emosi, mentaldan personaliti staf yang positif.

NASA SPACE APPS CHALLENGE 2018

NASA Space Apps Challenge 2018 in KL is back!
 
Last year’s event was successfully conducted along with huge media coverage including The Star, the New Straits Times, Astro, and many more. 
 
This year, we are happy to announce the next NASA SPACE APPS CHALLENGE 2018, one of the world’s biggest hackathon event in more than 170 cities around the world
 
Please find the event information below: 
 
Date: 20 – 21 October 2018
Venue: Petrosains, The Discovery Centre, KLCC
Participant: Open for anyone who is above 18 years old and interested in developing meaningful solutions to help needs applicable to both life in Space and on Earth
Participation Fee: Free for first 500 registration (Group/Individual)
Registration: Inviting group & individual 
Prizes: Will be announced later

About NASA Space Apps Challenge:

We need students, technician, designer, whoever willing to share your idea! 
 
UTM participants will be mentored by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Noor Azurati Ahmad, who has experienced in the Space Apps Challenge since 2016. Participants are also encouraged to attend a pitching coaching session with ICC as a preparation in participating the program

Untuk makluman, eLearning@UTM Semester 1 2018/19 telah selesai proses konfigurasi. Portal eLearning@UTM kini boleh dicapai dan dikemaskini oleh pensyarah menerusi portal rasmi myUTM (https://my.utm.my). Walaubagaimanapun, terdapat sebahagian isu berkaitan dengan subjek semester sebelum ini iaitu (Semester 1 20172018) untuk dibawa ke hadapan (Semester 1 20182019). Tidak semua subjek berjaya untuk dibawa kehadapan dan sebahagiannya akan ada subjek yang kosong.
Untuk yang demikian, pensyarah untuk melakukan proses backup dan restore pada subjek Semester 1  20172018 (http://elearning.utm.my/17181) kepada Semester 1 20182019.

Proposal for JICA Grant for Joint Research Project

JICA has opened the application for joint research project for young MJIIT members (<40 years).  Please look at the guidelines and apply.
Outline of the Grant is:
(1)     Grant amount for each project: Maximum of RM 180,000
(2)     Grant period for each project: 2 years starting from April 2019 until March 2021
(3)     Number of projects: JICA will fund 5 grants

Hitachi Scholarship Research Support Program for 2019

The Hitachi Global Foundation aims to contribute to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by solving social issues through the promotion of Science and Technology. The Foundation carries out the Hitachi Scholarship Research Support Program that offers research support grants to the faculty members who wish to conduct collaborative researches that contribute to solving social issues at universities or research institutions in Japan.

(1) Maintenance allowance: 6,000 yen per year
(2) Travel allowance: from 80,000 yen – 150,000 yen
