UTM komited wujudkan ekosistem terbaik lahirkan bakat berprestasi tinggi

Majlis Bersama Naib Canselor edisi Jun pada kali ini telah dihadiri oleh seramai 3,960 orang staf UTM dari Kampus Johor Bahru, Kuala Lumpur dan Pagoh.1
Dalam tempoh enam bulan pertama tahun 2024, warga UTM telah mencapai pelbagai kejayaan signifikan termasuklah pelancaran Fakulti Kecerdasan Buatan yang pertama di Malaysia dan Konsortium Kecerdasan Buatan Malaysia (MAIC) yang telah pun direalisasikan pada 10 Mei yang lalu di Pusat Dagangan Dunia (WTC) Kuala Lumpur.
Menurut Naib Canselor UTM, Prof. Datuk Ir. Ts. Dr. Ahmad Fauzi bin Ismail, UTM mencatatkan kadar Kebolehpasaran Graduan (GE) yang mencapai 100% bagi 2023 selain mengungguli kategori pendapatan premium serta berkemahiran tinggi dalam kalangan universiti awam di Malaysia.

Cogan kata keramat UTM – Kerana Tuhan Untuk Manusia

Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) mempunyai jati diri yang diungkapkan melalui cogan kata “Kerana Tuhan Untuk Manusia”. Sebelum ini, cogan kata asalnya adalah “Untuk Tuhan dan Manusia” yang diinspirasi oleh Naib Canselor pertama UTM, Tan Sri Dato’ Ainuddin bin Abdul Wahid pada tahun 1978.
Lambang UTM ini terdiri daripada dua bentuk asas berwarna emas iaitu sebuah buku terbuka dibahagian atas yang melambangkan kitab suci al-Quran iaitu sumber ilmu pengetahuan. Bulatan emas pula, melambangkan alam yang mulia yang diamanahkan oleh Pencipta-Nya kepada manusia.
Di dalam bulatan ini terdapat bentuk bulan sabit yang melambangkan keislaman dan bentuk kelalang berwarna merah pulasan pula melambangkan Sains yang menjadi asas teknologi. Semua ini dilingkungi oleh bulatan nama dan cogan kata Universiti.

UTM Reaches New Heights in QS World University Rankings 2025

Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) is proud to announce its progress in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings (WUR) 2025, released on 4th June 2024. UTM has ascended seven positions, from #188 to #181, its highest to date.
This edition has seen notable improvements in UTM’s Citations per Faculty, reflecting strong research output and productivity. UTM has maintained its position as the second-highest in Malaysia in this indicator and the highest among the nation’s Research Universities, showcasing the university’s dedication to advancing knowledge and driving innovation.
UTM VC, Prof Datuk Ir Ts Dr. Ahmad Fauzi Ismail expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated staff, committed students, supportive alumni, and valued partners for their unwavering dedication and support. “Their combined efforts have significantly elevated UTM’s standing in global rankings and played a crucial role in the university’s ongoing success,” he said.
