Dr. Suraya Yaacob earned her PhD in 2016 following 12 years of experience as a System Analyst across various agencies. She is a dynamic academic, researcher, and consultant, dedicated to advancing translational research in IT, digitalization, and data analytics. Currently, she leads the Operational Business Intelligence Research Group at the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence with research interests spanning data visualization and analytics, data intelligence, and complex cognitive processes.

With a strong commitment to bridging the needs of academia, industry, and the community, she focuses on research led-teaching, customized research programs, and providing training and consultation to foster practical knowledge and encourage innovation.
