Azurah A SAMAH is a  Senior Lecturer  at Faculty of Computing, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Malaysia. Formerly she was the head of Artificial Intelligence and BioInformatics Research Group (AIBIG). She received her B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Malaysia, in 1993, M.Sc. degree in Operational Research from Southampton University, United Kingdom, in 1996, and her PhD. degree in Operations Management from Salford University, United Kingdom, in 2010. Her research interest includes Simulation Modelling, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Image Processing and Operations Management. She is a member of the Persatuan Sains Matematik Malaysia and Management Science and Operations Research Malaysia (MSORSM). She involves in many research projects and is a reviewer for many  journals and conferences
