AIBIG

(Artificial Intelligence and Bioinformatics Research Group)

Formed in Sept 1999, AIBIG research group – formerly known as Artificial Intelligence and Bioinformatics Laboratory (AIBIL) – is being active in several scientific research areas for the past 10 years. AIBIG is a research group under Faculty of Computing at Universiti Teknology Malaysia (UTM). Specific research topics include, but are not limited to: algorithms, computational models for molecular biology, computer architecture, databases, distributed systems, machine learning, natural and spoken language, parallel systems, programming languages, robotics, scientific computing and synthetic biology of computation

At AIBIG, researchers are the most valuable resources that we have. We have researchers from Malaysia, Iraq, China, Indonesia, Kuwait, UAE, Yemen, Iran and Syria.

AIBIG has a postgraduate student lab. In this lab, students use latest version of software that would assist postgraduate students in their study and research related to Artificial Intelligence and Bioinformatic . Details about the lab:
