In conjunction with the 1st International Conference on Creative and Innovative Technology in Education (i-CITE 2018) that was held at Hotel Le Grandeur Palm Resort, Johor, Malaysia on 24th – 25th July 2018, I was given a chance to conduct a workshop to the participants of the conference. The workshop focused on the process of developing higher order thinking skills (HOTS) items according to Lembaga Peperiksaan Malaysia. The development is based on the revised version of Bloom Taxonomy (Anderson & Krathwohl, 2001). Workshop participants had also been exposed to the concept of validity and reliability, and difficulty and discrimination index.
