Alhamdulillah, 1 student and 3 lecturers from Faculty of Civil Engineering, UTM managed to join “The 2016 Undergraduate Seismic Design Competition” in San Francis o, California from April 5th to April 8th.
The model was prepared and build in UTM and bring it by airplane to USA. The journey was smooth and the weather was great during the event. Most of the participants were from USA land and UTM was only the team presented from Asian Country. The model was survived up to 0.3g level of ground motion. We were very proud that, the model was bought by one of the construction company in San Francisco.
